FUNDING YOUR CARE

There are various people in need of care and the misconception that it can be a financial burden has left a lot of people living an undeserved quality of life. Over the last few years, a lot of information has been put out into the public domain which has encouraged people to seek help and continue to enjoy their lives right in their own homes.

There are various options available to you: –

Direct Payments and Personal Health Budget

Once you have been accessed as needing care services, you may, subject to assessment, qualify for funding through the Local Authority and/or Health & Social Care Trust. The money is paid directly to you to enable you to organise and plan for your care and is aimed at encouraging more people to seek care within their homes as opposed to nursing and residential homes.  A social worker will guide you this process and explain the methods available to you

Self-Funding

Unfortunately not all individuals are eligible for public funding. At Leymar, we understand how tedious the exercise of choosing an affordable care plan can be, while at the same time ensuring that the plan fully covers your needs. We will work with you, your family and other professionals involved
